Our agency was able to partner with a community organization to locate a family member out-of-state, who expressed interest in becoming a long-term placement option. We are so thankful for the financial support from the Lonely Children's Fund which helped us ensure that this child was able to have all of his clothing, toiletries, and other belongings sent to his new placement.
The Lonely Children's Fund has been instrumental in helping so many children in foster care have access to items, activities, and experiences that they may not have otherwise. As social work staff, we could not do this work without the love, support, and commitment from the community we serve to continue to meet the needs of our most vulnerable population.
