RESIDENTS have questioned what will be built on the site of the former Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre in the future.
The leisure centre closed its doors for the final time in July 2016 - following 30-years of service - and the site has lay empty since it was demolished.
Drone footage has recently been shared showing the current state of the site which has been reduced to rubble.
On Facebook, many suggested that the site should be used for housing.
Ian Bailey said: "It should be housing, most of the old town centre should be cleared for housing, and the empty shop units will never be used as shops again".
Nelle Durnin said: "Could have built houses there instead of the green belt".
Darren Hughes added: "It was meant to be a multiplex cinema at one time I remember but that all faded away".
Wyre Forest District Council said: "There are not any current planning applications/confirmed plans on the former Glades Centre site".
