Costumes from the movie Wicked will go on display at the Arlington Museum of Art in January.

The show opens January 17 and runs through April 27. The exhibition will be free to the public.

Curated by the Arlington Museum of Art, the exhibition will feature original costumes, props and images from the film Wicked, provided by NBCUniversal Archives & Collections. Highlights from the exhibition will include Glinda's "bubble" dress and Elphaba's "Defying Gravity" costume.

"The Arlington Museum of Art is always proud to bring exciting new exhibits to Arlington and its visitors. We hope fans of Wicked, costuming, and film enjoy seeing the new versions of these iconic costumes", says Arlington Museum of Art president and CEO Chris Hightower.

The Arlington Museum of Art is in the heart of Arlington's Entertainment District at 1200 Ballpark Way. The museum is open Tues.-Sat from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
