Darlene M. Lund, 90, of Chippewa Falls, died Monday, October 13, 2025 at Our House Memory Care in Chippewa Falls.

Darlene was born July 17, 1935 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Leonard and Irene (Kastel) Geissler. She graduated from McDonell High School. She worked for Mason Shoe Store and JCPenney for many years. Most recently, she worked as a tour guide for Leinenkugel's Brewery for over 20 years.

On September 24, 1955, Darlene married H. Morris Lund at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls.

Darlene was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling, sewing,, camping and cooking. Darlene's whole life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Darlene is survived by three sons, John (Patti) Lund, Jim (Mary) Lund and David (Norma) Lund; four daughters, Jayne (Doug) Erickson, Geri (Gary) Grubba, Susie (Ken) Frank and Ann (John) Mueller; five brothers, Dick (Donna) Geissler, Ronnie (Sandy) Geissler, Marv (Denise) Geissler, Brad (Donna) Geissler and Brian (Kris) Geissler; two sisters, Judy (Gene) Shaffer and Diane Geissler; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren plus one on the way, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Morrie Lund on December 8, 2010; her parents; three brothers, Randy Geissler, Roger "Butch" Geissler and Leonard "Huntz" Geissler, Jr.; and two sisters, Delores Follensbee and Lois "Bernie" Erickson; and numerous family pups..

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 24 at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. Inurnment will be in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 23 and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. There will be a Christian vigil service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
