Fox Business reporter Terret noted that several cryptocurrency company executives will participate in a roundtable discussion with pro-crypto Senate Democrats on Wednesday to discuss market structure legislation and the industry outlook.
Sharing from his X account, Terreet announced that executives from Coinbase, Chainlink (LINK), Galaxy, Kraken, Uniswap (UNI), Circle (USDC) and Ripple (XRP) will attend the meeting.
According to Terreet, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will chair the meeting, and other names are expected to be added to the list.
These crypto executives are expected to participate in a roundtable with pro-crypto Senate Democrats on Wednesday to discuss market structure legislation and the path forward:
Terreet added that this meeting took place after Democrats' leaked proposal to regulate DeFi was met with industry backlash and negotiations with their Republican counterparts stalled in recent days.
