The Renault Triber is the cheapest 7-seater MPV in the country, which is being well-liked, especially among middle class families. According to the company's September 2025 sales report, Triber sold 2,587 units this month, while in September 2024, only 1,538 units were sold. That is, the company has recorded an annual growth of 68% this year.

The X-showroom price of this MPV goes from ₹5.76 lakhs to ₹8.60 lakhs after GST deduction. It is a big deal in itself to get a car with a seating area of 7 people and safety features at such a low price.

The most important thing of the Renault Triber is that it is not less than a premium car in terms of features even though it is affordable. In its interior you get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also has a digital instrument cluster, push button start / stop, rear parking camera, cooled glove box, and boot space of up to 625 liters (on folding seats). Apart from this, it also gets features like automatic climate control, cruise control, and rain-sensing wipers.

Renault has made Triber quite strong in terms of security. The company has standardized 6 airbags in it, which is a big deal in this price range. Along with this, EBD, Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Traction Control System (TCS) with ABS are also given. In addition, safety features such as Hill Hold Assist, Rear Parking Sensors, Reverse Camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Seat Belt Reminder are also present. All these features make it a safe and reliable MPV for the middle class family.

Now let's talk about its engine. The Renault Triber gets a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, generating 72 PS power and 96 Nm torque. The engine is available in both 5-speed manual (MT) and automatic (AMT) transmissions. Its performance is very smooth for city driving. However, if you run on the highway with the entire family and luggage, there may be a lack of power. Nevertheless, given its price and segment, this performance is considered quite balanced.
