NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: Several units have been affected by an apartment fire in Madison on Monday, according to the Nashville Fire Department.
Crews responded to the Breckenridge Apartments on Nesbitt Lane sometime before noon.
The fire affected Building 5 at the complex, which has 20 total units. Utilities have been cut off to the building and crews are currently assessing the damage to see how many residents will be displaced.
The Red Cross responded to the scene and is coordinating with property management on how to best serve the displaced residents.
Nashville Fire said no injuries were reported.

Crews responded to an apartment building in the 1600 block of Nesbitt Lane on Monday morning.
The fire that began in Building 5 of the complex has been extinguished. Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading, NFD said.
Crews will remain on the scene of the fire to check for extension and extinguishing hot spots.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
