Pharrell Williams maintains his youthful glow and smooth skin with one key element of his hygienic routine: hydration. With his dermatologist by his side during an intimate dinner in Belair, Calif., on Tuesday night (Nov. 13) the 51-year-old unveiled his latest collaborative effort with evian through his Humanrace brand, two limited edition glass bottles, with blue and green designs, declaring "This is the fountain of youth." VIBE was among the guests, including Halle Bailey, Teezo Touchdown, Gunna, and Salehe Bembury entered the lavish space, all first to see the result of the collaborative effort.
Ahead of the four-course culinary experience prepared by We Are Ona, the producer addressed the attendees with gratitude for the shared space and pride in the bottles he designed for evian. The drop is the first of its kind for both entities. Previously, Humanrace and evian partnered for a tennis-inspired capsule collection which Williams noted was "just the start" of their professional linkup to High Snobiety.
The release also signals a new era in the evian brand's 15-year history of luxury designer partnerships and is the first time the brand has offered both still and sparkling water in glass bottles - spotlighting the importance of water as part of the dining ritual.
"Staying hydrated is fundamental. These bottles represent more than just water -- they're a reminder that self-care can be joyful," explained the Virginia native in a statement. "My collaboration with evian and Humanrace will hopefully inspire people to embrace the small moments that contribute to our overall well-being. The 'Fountain of Youth' phrase on the bottle is designed to start conversations at the dinner table and reminds us of the fundamental role water plays in our wellness."
