Do you rely heavily on spellcheck? I couldn't live without it. I used to think I was a pretty decent speller until I started writing for a living. I will straight up mangle some words. "Diarrhea", for example. I cannot tell you how many ways I've tried to spell that stupid word.

I spell it so wrong, that spellcheck is usually like, "IDK, bro. You're on your own..."

Why do I have to write the word "diarrhea" so often? Who knows. It may have something to do with the fact that I host a filthy comedy morning show on the radio. That word is far too common in our daily convo.

But, whatever. I know I'm not the only one who has trouble sounding-it-out. According to Google Trends, Texans struggle to spell one word more than any other. Can you guess what it might be? I'll give you a second to think about it...

Well, here you go. The number one most misspelled word by Texans is the word "confident." Texans often spell it with an "a-n-t" at the end instead of an "e-n-t."

Grammarly says that Texans also struggle to spell the word "similar." We like to add a "u" in there, and spell it "simular."
